So I have a M50 with a early model G260 in my 85 318. I used my original sheet metal shifter carrier off my m10. Cut it down some and redrilled the two mounting holes and also had to shorten the selector rod.
which it works but I was looking in to the UUC DSSR made for the 24V swaps I realize that I would have to change the part where the selector rod connects to the trans to the later model (narrower one).
My question is, has anyone tried out the UUC DSSR 24V with a early mode sheet metal carrier? My concern is it will hit the carrier mounting tabs.
