E30 m52 2.8l running Mobil 1 syn 0w40 oil. Engine runs pretty good for the most part but I'm trying to remedy this tick. I tried switching to the Mobil 1 0w40 but it doesn't seem to help but no luck. I'm about to take the head off to put in a cometic .140 mls for boost and thinking about doing something to fix it then. Any ideas or suggestions? I've heard of using atf to clean out the engine but what other options are available?:thankyou:
