I really cant see these ever needing replacement with any NA M/S50 motor. They are really really big mounts I was suprised and worried if they would fit or not, but no worries. + i have billet aluminum tranny mounts on a super beefy tranny brace i welded up and its not goign anywhere either. somehow the car stilll doesn't vibrate to bad. I couldn't be happier with them but then again I daily drive the car on Jstocks and Jstock evo billys so i am biased when is comes to stiff and comfort

now when I finish the other motor i have on the stand... ehh motor mounts won't be the only thing breaking

Timely post, and thanks for the info lordofmpower - I've been looking for a stiffer and hopefully more durable version of the e28 green mounts before doing my swap, after a couple people reported their green mounts needing replacement after 1-2 years.

Charlie, I have those mounts in my swapped car and they fit fine. IE makes them, thats where Car gets them I would source them from IE. They are uber stiff hit me up with any questions

Manifolds aren't the issue, the downpipes are. I seem to remember that OBDI will fit with no washers, but you'll have to jack up the motor to install the downpipes.

I am not using any washers to raise the engine. But I might be tomorrow!

Installing headers in the morning and I can't see how they are ever going to fit if I don't.

The engine mounts have never failed.

    And they are cheap.

Why would you want anything else?

You sir are smart, oem ftmfw
