Accent res?Hey, just off topic a bit, what are you guys doing for a reservoir for the clutch fluid? The old system shared the reservoir with the brakes, but the remote reservoir I got per the brake booster thread has no port for it. I'm debating trying to plug the holes and mount the old reservoir for the clutch only.

The clutch system has a master(takes pedal force and uses a piston to pressurize fluid) and a slave cylinder(takes pressure and converts it to force). If you are using the E36 trans then you want to use the reg old E30 CLUTCH master cylinder and the E36 CLUTCH slave cylinder. The brake booster is all together another system.Leave a comment:

We are talking clutch hyrdraulics... nothing to do with the brake booster.Leave a comment:

The e30 master wont work with the e36 slave..?
I ordered a pre modified 320i booster from a guy who stips down cars from down south, does the e36 master hook right up to that modified booster?
--or should i just not waste my time and just use the e30 master-e36 slaveLeave a comment:

MEh I used the E30 master and E36 slave with a UUC line. Clutch feels good and stiff. I did spend $720 on my clutch fly kit though. :loco:Leave a comment:
