I am not looking for info to swap an N52 per se, however, it looks like i will be picking up an e60 that has a blown N52.
This forum seems to have a few n52 experts, and in the interest of finding the best deal on a replacement engine, i am looking for a little info.
There appears to be an N52, and an N52N. The actual engine block has different part numbers. Are these differences significant enough that i could not use one engine in the place of another?
Is the hydraulic lifter issue with early engines very common? Even though noisy lifters are more of a nuisance, i would still prefer to not deal with it.
Thank you
