I'm about to replace my clutch in my 1991 325iX. I've look but haven't really found much as far as a step by step clutch replacement for the E30's let alone a iX.
I've decide to go with a kit from http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp
It seems pretty complete with an alignment tool, clutch disc, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, rear engine seal, pilot bearing, all transmission seals, exhaust gaskets, and a pivot pin for $264. Not a bad deal IMO, if theres a better one let me know.
Basically, what do I need to know before doing this? What are the steps? Any tip?
