Hello everyone.
In am having a problem that I want to get some insight on before I go tearing in to anything.
the driver side CV axle has a far bit of play, where it slides in to the differential. the CV axle itself is still good.
the diagrams I'm finding don't show a bearing on the output of the diff to keep it stable, just an oil seal.
are the splines on the spider gears supposed to keep the CVs spinning concentric from the output of the diff?
the car is 1988
any input on this would be much appreciated.
thanks
