Battery cable routing for a touring

I'm doing a resto on my touring and I'm relocating the battery to the boot pocket while I'm at it. I have all the parts but I'm unsure on how to route the cable going into the boot.

I know on the saloons it goes through the rear bulkhead but theere isn''t one in the touring, in it's place there's a boxsection just behind the seat. I was told it passes through this but there isn't a hole on the other sade for it to pass out of.

Did you figure this out? Retrofitting rear battery in my touring now, can't see the logical routing past this point...

If I'm not mistaken, the cable comes from the top the wheel housing and goes down to the positive battery terminal.
