Tire size for IX basket weaves??

Have a set of baskets (5) that NEED new rubber. 195/65r15 is on them now. Going to go with General AltiMax should I just go with the size that was on them or something else? 205/??R15??

I should include these were included as an extra set when I bought the car and I haven't put them on because the rubber is so old. I'm basically going off past owners word they are indeed IX rims. Where are these marked so I can make sure they are ET41 (stock ix wheels)?

Picture is only marks I could find but no "ET??" only and "E41" mark, is that the right one?

    That looks correct.

The stock tire size is 205/55-15. Since tires in that size have basically disapeared, we have 195/60-15 as the closest thing to correct. 195/65-15 is oversized and may look a little weird and/or rub over big bumps/inside the fender wells (although folks have reported that it works fine).

225/50R15 also works if you can find anything in that size, another is 205/50R15. Basically there's not much exactly the same as stock - either a little over or a little undersized.

Those are the correct ET41 offset ix weaves.

I run Kumho 205/55R15's as an all-season cruiser tire. That one is about all that is available for an all-season tire in the stock size.

There are a few more choices for summer tires in the same stock size.

            Thanks everyone for the confirmations.

As for tires definitely looking for an all season, this IX will pull most of itÂ’s driving duty in the winters of Wisconsin. Eventually I might get a dedicated summer tire for the other set of rims but thatÂ’ll have to wait.

IÂ’ve heard good things about the general altimaxs and they are decently priced with a rebate currently. So deciding between 195/60r15, 195/65r15 and 205/60r15 it looks like as my closest options

I like the idea of the 225 50 15 tires. Any other specific tires recommended?
