The inner ball joints which are specific for the iX are available, however only in Europe.
I ordered 2 pairs for myself but if you're really desperate I could get a pair from my local dealer if they can still get them.

I have a brand new set of ix control arms, for sale.

    I'm not your pal, friend.
A trailing arm is a control arm.

You don't have to guess, just read the original post, and every post before yours. The OP clearly stated "control arm bushings". Which has nothing to do with anything in the rear, Pal.

The iX has a specific part number for the CAB, but it is nothing special. # 31101130503 is the part number. I think they are a bit stiffer than the stock E30 part from what I have seen. I would use solid centered E36 M3 CABs from a 96+ E36 M3..

Only the inner ball joint is specific, the outer is the same as rwd e30s.

    Control Arm Bushings

    Hello,

Does anyone have any insight into why the control arm bushings on our cars are ix-specific? I'd like to put some e36 (or something beefier than stock) bushings on my car, but I'm starting to have second thoughts after noticing the ix didnt come with run-of-the-mill E30 CABs.

    Thanks
    Steve
