Convertible Later Model Carrier vs Coupe/Sedan Carrier?

I've notice that there is stock of the late model front bumper carriers for the convertibles (51118100572) but not of the coupe or sedan ones (51111925595). I can't seem to find any difference between the two and was wondering if anyone has any experience as to why they are different part numbers?

    I have no idea.
Both are Late model bumper supports
both use the same side brackets
both use the same bumper shocks

The convertible version also listed as fitting Euro coupe/sedan/touring, but only USA spec verts.

Maybe this has to do with the side markers, but I don't think so.
    Should fit without issues

i don't see why they would be any different. i've swapped so many parts between the 3 models, that is one of them that never mattered and always bolted right up.

Definitely thought it should but was surprised to find they had different part numbers and wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something here. Also just so the info is out there for anyone who needs a replacement.

Has anybody confirmed this? Last week someone hit my car in parking lot and ripped off front bumper. Before I order the 51118100572 I was hoping to confirm that it will fit my 325is
