ok so i took the wheels off my car about 11/2 years ago to get them refinished. and haven't put them back on yet. hey i got caught up doing other crap like m30 swap and suspension upgrades. anyway it's time to put the newly refurbished wheels back on the car.
THE PROBLEM: i have 16x7.5 up front and 16x9 for the rear. lowered suspension 1" front 1.25" rear. the last set of rears were stretched and i don't want that. looks awful and wears tires fast.
THE DESIRE: i want low(ish) profile tires wich are wide enough to get the look i want but not so extreme it wears out fast or rubs the wheel well/fender, or shock (rear)
I'm thinking 225 40 up front and 245 40 for the rear. anyone with similar set up have any suggestions as far as sizes to go with?
