that looks great. i've painted a lot of cars in my day and ive got a booth and all so i don't need this but if i didn't have all that stuff i'd be all over this. this saves you on masking everything off from overspray and saves you money on masking paper. etc. etc etc. i could go on forever. never thought it could look that good!!!Leave a comment:

GTFO noob. Nobody's listening to you. You don't want it, don't buy it.

What exactly is your point? Maybe I should just go to WebMD while I'm at it. Oh thats right, I'd rather have information thats tailored to me.
He never claimed to have "pioneered" this method of paint application. He simply took applied it, applied it to an e30, and is offering his experience in an easy to read, well formated document. For 11 bucks...hell I blow that on breakfast.
So the bargain here is consolidated information; unlike the >150page Moparts thread. Instead of thread crapping why don't you offer something constructive.Leave a comment:

so your selling a how to on the paint job? I guess its a bargain for some one who cant google "50 dollar paint job". Like there hasent been a ton of write ups for hondas, beetles, falcons, and chargers painted this way.Leave a comment:

Quite impressed by the outcome on your car.
I'm going to look at a e30 project this weekend, and I have a feeling I'll need to repaint it.
This looks like a decent method for someone with no experience, and it would certainly keep costs down.Leave a comment:

Thanks guys. Anybody interested in the writeup, shoot me a PM. If you're more interested in spraying your car, then this thread is not for you.Leave a comment:

It doesn't take much experience... only patience (like any other paintjob), but you also save a lot of money and don't have to spend alot on equipment.
That's the major advantage.
I've personally witnessed my rollerpaintjob next to some homemade spray jobs hands down, my paint was better than theirs. No runs, no orange peel, nice shine.Leave a comment:
