I have a white '90 325is and a brand new 'is' lip for the front in primer. What is the correct (original from factory) color for the lip? Body color or black? Thanks!

The 'is' lip should match the body color. But you can do whatever you want. I find that the IS lip makes the car kind of look front heavy if you don't also have side skirts (which the IS model came with as well). -

Body color looks great from the front, but since the rockers are black and the lower section behind the rear wheel is black, it can make the car look front-heavy from the side view. I'll paint it white first, though, since that's factory-correct. If I find it too irritating, then I'll go with black trim paint. Thanks for the feedback!R135 /// 1990 Alpinweiß II 325is
