Hey,
Just looking for some guidance. I have a 89 325i project that has a crooked front end. This sedan was in a small fender bender when i picked it up. Had been hit in the front corner on the drivers side. The accident was at 5-10mph and the car hit at a 90 degree angle. The bumper support cracked, the front fender and hood and valance took some damage. Under the body was mostly untouched, there is a tab by the headlight that was bent. Fortunately it still drives straight. I replaced the fender, hood, valence and support; but now, as expected, everything is a bit off. It seems that corner needs to be pulled out a bit. The most noticeable is the hood, after much adjustments I have it closing but its just not straight. The driver side bumper support mount is pushed over about 1/2"ish, the entire bumper sits off center a bit. Having limited experience i tired to pull it back with a come-along attached to my truck, my first attempt was a bust.
Considering most other aspects of the car is pretty good I am interested in getting this thing straightened out and eventually painted. If anyone here has some words of advice, your wisdom would be really appreciated. would like to save money where possible, if there is any tricks to this repair; I would love to hear it. If not, does anyone know of a bay area shop that I could trust to fix this proper!
some pics of how it sits currently, what you all think? the hood is adjusted to that the rollers are on the tracks and it latches, you can see how off it is closer to the windshield.
