today I mounted the brackets for the IS cowcatcher air dam on my 89 DB vert. Milled some new brackets out of ABS. Install generally went ok other than some of the fasteners being in places that are difficult to access.
But one of the fasteners, on the driver's side bracket, the bottom fastener as it connects to the valence - there isn't enough clearance between the valence and the oil cooler line right behind. I can't bend the valence forward, the bracket is hitting the DB. The bracket feels pretty solid so I may just leave it, but I was wondering if anyone else had this issue, or if maybe the oil cooler line is installed funky.
Oh, and any tips for tightening the topmost fastners to the valence are appreciated, it's a pain! So little access.
