Maybe a valance question?

After seeing one on a e30 in person, I can see where people say they don't fit. If you don't have the funds for a lip then Volvo would be the way to go, but if you do have money to spend on a lip, iS or otherwise would be more fitting to the car.

I mean if it comes down to funds there is the eBay ones for like 42 bucks the cheapest I have seen. Saves hassle, time for finding and getting a Volvo lip from the wreckers an it's a pretty good lip

No it will not work. That's for a late model with plastic bumpers.

You'll have to change your front end over to this style here

This is the air dam that's missing on yours


Or you could just bolt on this lip to your existing valance


Or find this lip that's kind of rare "Jimmy Hill" is its nick name.


These harder to find air dams/spoilers/lips are harder to find but will work on you current setup.

it also has this air dam which i have off because the metal where the bracket held on to rusted out.



that being said...
would it be possible to swap my metal bumper to look like this one?




and what is the name of this bumper kit?

The red car is stock, not a kit at all. You'll find them on 89-91 two and four door e30's and late 91-93 convertibles.

For convertibles, not really, its the two and four door cars where you have to shorten the rear bumper.

No, M-Tech1 is totally different. The MT1 attaches to a small European bumper that is unlike our big aluminum bumpers we got on our early cars.

Yep, that's the lip on the 4th car down that I posted. As long as you have the 86-87 valance. By the pictures you provided, it looks like to do.
