Removing paint from center caps

I got a set of wheels on here, but they were painted blue. I'm gonna repaint them, but how do I get the paint off the center caps? I got paint stripper for the wheel but will it melt the plastic on the center cap? Any tips on getting the paint off without damaging the plastic?

Read the instructions on the stripper. It will say if it is safe on plastic or not. Some are, some aren't.

Really though, unless the paint is flaking off or severely pitted, I'd just lightly scuff them up and spray over the paint.
