That thread is awesome and lots of work and detail was put into that car. Plus he is still putting bumpers on the car.
I forget which thread it was but there was a member who tried to go bumperless but completely engulfing the front end in bondo. Just put bumpers on.
whats with this wack bumper?!

to be honest i had thought about doing this while my bumpers were off for paint i though of making a piece or cardboard to fill in the gap and painting it black to see how it would look as i love 2002s without bumpers hanging off the front and thought it would look good from the side but thank you for proving my initial thoughts wrong, it just does not work the same on e30s.Leave a comment:

put bumpers on your car.
look into mtech 2 kit.
look into stock bumpers.
look into e36.
look into honda.
look into the mirror and ask yourself again, why?Leave a comment:

The divet part is the only good (I'm using that term very loosely) part of the "bumper." Putting huge ricer spotlights in the middle of the car will increase the fail tenfold.Leave a comment:

it looks like shit. no, being 'original' is not good in this case.

ok sooooo its cool that you guys hate it but.... im going to put some sorta large (3ish inch) fogs in the ugly divet part (thats why its there) and then start to bondo the crumply spots on the fender from rolling it. If anybody in the whole world who sorta likes it has any suggestions feel free.... most who will hate it, continue with the banter i enjoy this ;)Leave a comment:

Oh so you did this...I thought you bought it like that. Well, might as well own it and put a little more work into it to shape it a little closer to match the body flush.Leave a comment:
