    1987 325is

I have an 87 325is with tucked dived bumpers. I don't mind the dive bumpers now that they're tucked but is there any way I could trash the IS front spoiler and bolt up something smaller? It was pretty mangled when i bought the car. the mountin points are drilled into the side of it and the metal brace that suports it is warped with most of the brakets broken. If i hit a cone too hard the paint cracks and i have to respray it. I'm getting a little annoyed with how low and fragile it is.

I was wondering if the front apron off of an 87 325i or 325ix would bolt right on or if i need a new valence as well. (Genuine BMW Trim Front Apron 51711933510)

Plan B is do the 89 plastic bumper swap but thats a lot of money and fab work for an autocross toy :/

The lip from an '84 or '85 (with integrated brake ducts) will fit, as will the small lip from an '86-'88 eta or an '87 325i. I recommend the latter for the oil cooler slats.

Just remove the large front spoiler and attach the small one to the bottom of the metal valance.
