Windshield Gasket - Replace or Re-use

I've been re-using them for years with no issue. The race car needs a new screen often, still has the original seal.

My front windshield is cracked pretty bad. In passing, while picking up some other parts, I bought a decent used windshield.

My question is, should I just replace the gasket with a new one when I replace the window or just try to re-use the old one. The lock strip is cracked and looks shitty but the old gasket seems ok. What do you all suggest?
