I have an early model fat lip with brake ducts I was going to use that looks really similiar though. Might as well use the early lip almost.
I have the same lip sitting in the basement. I also have an early-model front valence that is unbent and in great shape, so I am undecided as to if I am going to modify the lip or sell it with the valence. What I wanted to do was flip the lip upside-down so it looks something like a, Infinity lip, but with brake dicts. This would require fiberglassing extensions onto the lip and making some extension of some sort to make it "flow" into the valence. I think it might be more workt han it is worth, though.

The lip on the E30 is actually a euro Mk.3 VR6 lip, it's deeper than the us version. All of the us spec lips are the same regardless of engine, which is the same as the one in the jetta pic.

Don't want to sound stupid but what year is a jetta mk3 vr6 lip.
I'd do the mod at $50 duckets total cost.,compared to the whopping $180 for an IS lip

^^ looks pretty good. How hard would it be to fiberglass/bondo the two pieces together?

Pics PLEASE!!! I need a lip for my car and I think I would rather do this than the is lip.
I just called VW they are toothless hooker cheap!! 2 pieces and $25 a piece!! I'm thinking the is lip can go fuck itself at that price!

I thought about this, I might try it on my car with diving boards. My buddy has a vr6 lip kicking around.
