I'm looking for anyone that has first hand experience with the Lown Performance E36/E46 front seat brackets, especially if you were able to install them over carpet in a E30 coupe.
My first issue was some of the moulded carpet was not allowing the bracket to sit flush, but they sent me some spacers and that fixed it.
The issue I'm having now is the seat belt anchor and the small L bend at the bottom doesn't sit flush against the carpet, so its out of alignment at the top bolt. If I fold the carpet over it fits better but still not aligned perfectly.
Anyone successfully install these brackets or similar on an E30 Coupe over carpet and any issues you had?
