Evo cloth

My update on the evo cloth is that they're making the pattern and will be sending me a sample in December. The colors will be the closest they've got in house, they would dye the appropriate colors for the production material.

Bump? Reconsidering doing Hurricane or M-Cloth material when I have my seats redone and wondered if any progress was made.

I'd take the Grey only, I think the stripes would make an awesome shift boot.

No foam backing is preferable. That's typically how automotive upholstery is sold.

Agreed, I was surprised when I got it and saw it was backed.

I hope your not using SMSautofabric if you want this sample within a years time.

I have many samples out in my search for the best price/turnaround. SMS is one of the vendors I'm working with, while slow they do weave a very nice cloth so they are worth including.

There aren't many fabric mills in the US that do this type of work, I don't really want to send business to another country.

I don't know if they'll do just the cloth or the cloth+foam backing like the sample I sent them. IMHO the padded backing is irrelevant, any trimmer will know how to apply their own foam and do it up.
