Wire cover under steering wheel loose

There are actually two down there. One is pictured above and the second sticks out of the firewall to the left of that bracket. It's metal and pinches the left side of the panel up.

There should be a plastic clip on the steering column which the panel slips into.

Lol, I just asked this question the other day too. Sure enough this morning I looked down and the bracket was right there in front of my face the whole time

The cover under my steering wheel which contains all the wires and is hanging down and can get in the way of driving... Any suggestions to hold it up
