That leather is done, no stitching that back. What I did as a very temporary fix was find a close matching vinyl piece and insert it in the areas that show foam.
From that first pic, looks like that's already been tried.

The rear seatrest in my cabrio is split in two places at the top of the centermost section (see pic below). The leather looks badly shrunk. Can this be resewn or will I have to have a new section(s) sewn in? Anyone with experience resewing old leather? Thanks.
