I removed the Airbag wheel from my 93 vert today to install a Sport wheel. As recommended in other posts I removed the gray pin (but not its housing) in the 10 o'clock position and placed a spacer below and above the wheel. It sits as expected (close to the stalks) and the mounting nut sits in about the same spot as before.
My problem: every 180 degrees of turning the wheel it seems to hang up on something. Any idea what that could be???????
Secondly, I tried to mount an MTech1 wheel. This one I can't seem to push on all the way. There is a 5mm gap between the bottom of the wheel (bottom end of splines) and the bottom spacer. What could be going on with this one?
