That and the lift levers are smaller and they are lower then M3 and is seats. Cabrio hardback panels are cabrio specific and will not work on M3 or is seats.

I can probably help with the heated seat swap. I bet you'll find the levers are the same on the seats, just the plastic handles are longer - if not, they need to come off for the heated seat swap anyway...Mine are Natural, at least I think thats what it said on the "options" list you did for me in your VIN thread. I hope at least..now you have my paranoid.
The lever on the coupe has the longer, more hand grip looking one. The vert has the nubby one and if I try to put the longer one in it will hit the rear panel when put back. This is what I have been told at least.
Yea, I would do the swap but I don't know if I am comfortable doing all the stuff by myself and not screwing something up.
Did you confirm what color interior you have?Leave a comment:

What do you mean about the lever? The M3 seats should have the same levers since it is a two door and the seats would need to tilt forward.
Also, if the seats are the natural color instead of pearl beige, what are you doing with the rear seat (you leather is pearl beige, isn't it?)

I want to but don't really know how to. No the M3 seats I am buying are not heated, I wish but no. I also have to swap the lever to get into the back from my vert seats right now.
Aaron you did the heat swap didn't you? How difficult was it?
ThanksLeave a comment:

E30 M3 seats are exactly the same as E30 vert seats - they both have the horizontal stitch pattern - the only difference is the vert seats have a block in the recline mechanism to prevent them from hitting the rear side panels.
You have heated seats, right? Are the M3 seats you are buying heated? If not, are you going to swaop the heating elements over?Leave a comment:

They look pretty tits in a cabrio, but yes, modification is required to get them to fit.
if you look in the interior section of my website you'll see a basic guide to getting everything done to make them fit. Its hardly a step by step, but it'll help you decide if you want to get Vaders to fit or not. After all that work is done, you'll still need to make some adapters to fit them to the stock bolt holes.
Also keep in mind that the vaders are about 75lbs+ each. Pulling them in and out of my car while modifying them about killed me.

One thing to remember too is that the lever for accessing the back seat is larger on non-cabrio seats. I think you can switch them out (not positive), but if you don't, you might run into backrest issues because the lever will bang against the rear interior piece near the seatbelt.Leave a comment:

yea, I knew they had the same stitching. But maybe I was thinking about what I heard about the back seats. I always thought/knew (now) that they were the same but then read something that they were alittle wider.Leave a comment:

you have a bunch of vert owners telling you they are the exact same seats...because they are ;)
the info you're remembering is probably something you read about the back seats between M3/verts and coupes/sedans. Look at the stitching...see how it's horizontal for us verts just like the M's?Leave a comment:
