I have a euro (316i) HVAC panel for sale right now in perfect condition for $65 shipped with switches.
Anyone have a picture of a RHD HVAC panel with the radio hole on the right and the OBC hole on the left.

Yeah I got that one, used it for about a month and then bought a cdplayer lol. I was talking more about the bottom part of the panel, the whole hvac area. I am kicking around the idea of just making something custom, i'll give it a shot and use the stock panel as the template .There is a blanking panel for the headunit opening, but unless you've relocated it, I doubt you'd want to ditch it.
I thought about moving all the switches above the headunit to other, concealed locations and blanking those holes too, but the wiring would be a pain, and I don't want to have just a blank panel with a radio in it, have to have some stuff in there.Leave a comment:

Looks so clean too! I wish there was an aftermarket panel w/o the a/c or heater switches, maybe just blank area to fit gauges in or small gps / nav unit ...Leave a comment:

I'm still using it until I actually get around to installing my audio system. I'm just running my CD changer through the stock headunit. I'm trying to talk myself into dropping the cash on an E36 BMW Business headunit. But I'll still keep it there, just not plugged in. If I put a blank plate in it, my HVAC panel won't be symmetrical anymore, and it will drive me batshit insane. That's why I got the euro panel in the first place.Leave a comment:

Oh, just noticed the a/c delete plate. Must go check if the hazard/defroster delete plates are the same size...i bet they aren't...
You need to remove that ghay fader switch though ;)Leave a comment:

No dice, the RHD piece won't fit in a LHD car.Bumping an old thread to ask a question. I was wondering if there is an OE HVAC panel that moves the radio over to the right hand side and the OBC to the left. My friend wants to get a flip out screen head unit and wants to keep his OBC and not have to cut the wiper stalk down.
Thanks
...at least, I'm PRETTY sure I recall someone talking about how the dash won't let it sit in there right. You could try, but don't blame me if it don't fit!Leave a comment:
