That's what happens to a lot of people who drive M cars. They become ///MPolice, forgetting that it doesn't just mean Motorsport.

You know... a buddy of mine the other day saw my mtech 2 wheel, pointed to the M and said "I dont know about that, i really dont like when there is M stuff on non M cars. " He drives an e36 M3 by the way. I almost took the wheel off the car and smacked him with it... "it stands for m technic you tool." I swear he and his bastardized M3 are gonna drive me nuts.

I'm not sure, I think all my needles might be slightly off, I didn't have a very good pic to go on to get them back in the exact right spots.

Slightly off topic, but looking at the cluster straight on, is the temp gage supposed to be a directly on the line, or a tick before it when the car is off?

Love it, to your point just replace the tach and you are golden.

I just got the aluminum rings with the CF panel off eBay. I don't care what the haters say, some stuff is worth the money off eBay. Good quality CF in them and they don't look like some cheap ass 3A Racing Pep Boys shit. Way to go on the cluster surround though. My 318i has the nifty 7k tach. I can't wait to get mine finished up.

oh yeah! that looks good. i'm undecided on the ///m with the 4.5k redline but that cluster is just sexy. i can see it changing the whole interior of my car. simple but just beautifull

I like shiny stuff. But if i get another e30. I'm going to get a set of those aluminum rings instead of the chrome ones i've been getting.

Looking good  ... I feel the same about the haters, but I have the whole cluster and really like having a factory oil temp gauge more than the MPG gauge anyways. When I did mine several years ago, I used the chrome rings but that was all that was available at the time. After seeing yours I will probably change mine to the brushed finish.
