Looks like an L-Serie Recaro. The e21 Recaros didn't have a Recaro script. The early e21 had vinyl Recaros and there was a BMW logo on the side. But the seat in the picture could have been installed in an e21, providing it has the proper adapters.
The seat pictured will work in an e30 with the correct adapters.

I also have that insert material here now.. it feels like an effing burlap sack. Thats why we just made pillows out of it. Pretty much wasted my money buying 2 yards of it.

Also guys look how wavy the stitching is. Recaro might screw up every now and then but they arent going to put out a seat that looks like a drunk person did the french stitch.

fake i actually know the person in china who makes those. I actually have some fake srds here right now. Check out the sweet sticker hidden behind the insert. Guy bought them advertised as real and brought them to us to recover... he wasnt too happy when i told him the news.
