Only the black seat came with a headrest; the blue seat didn't come with one :( He said it disappeared. I don't really get how you lose a headrest?
If anyone has a headrest that may fit I'd be interested in purchase.

You should post these pics in the "Recaro Garage" thread.Originally posted by TDE30Nardo Black (cloth) Recaro Specialist S (without thigh support):Leave a comment:

I have a drill press and a 200 amp mig. I would not want to be liable if anything happens though.

Yeah but he didn't show pictures of anything. We should get some measurements and what not posted on here so that it will help others in the future. I'm surprised it doesn't exist already.
Thanks :) Now if I can just get my bro to do it for me.........or someone else around Seattle??? Anyone like money!?Leave a comment:

Here you go you need 2, not to scale but you get the idea. To determine the holes in the welded tabs depends how high you want your seat to be. As stated they can fit inside or outside the other brackets.

A little pshop would be nice so that I can show my brother what to whip up for me....although I'll likely have to pay him :( I really need to learn how to weld. I'm sure I could pick it up.To tell you the truth I really do not like the design of mine. You can simplify it much easier.
Since the sliders are on the seat all you need to do it take a piece of flat iron steel one for each side. Drill your mounting holes then weld 90° tabs on each end. Drill holes so they line up with the current slider vertical mounts. I do not have autocad loaded anymore but if you want a quick pshop let me know. Basically creating the same type of mount that is on the seat so they slide inside or outside of one another.

Wow, I am loving that old school Recaro print man. If you don't mind me asking, where did you pick them up from?Leave a comment:

You would be my hero if you found them. I've been searching all day. I even went to the hardware store to try and piece something together but I just don't have all the tools I need. My brother has welders, plasma cutters and cool stuff, but I've never really used any of it and he's working.
Do you think this would work??
