Well i could understand that its more comfortable for your eyes, but the way i understand it, the red light uses different parts of the eye so when you look at the dark blue/purple sky, you dont have to readjust your eyes. Or something along those lines.
Anway OP i think pretty much everyone on here would agree ellips would be a better use of your money

I've seen plenty or airplane cockpits with blue/green lighting. Personally, blue/green is much easier on my eyes then the red/amber found in BMW/Audi.

Then why do submarines use red lighting? And airplane control towers?

And, amber is easier on the eyes at night. Which is im sure why bmw uses amber/red

Yeah, I'd rather spend my money on a nice set of ellipse. I do still think if I had an Alpine id do an interior conversion to blue lights. I think that would be sick with some black interior.

Blue Dashboard Gauges?
I've seen this a couple times now where people have blue dashboard gauges. It looks pretty cool, depending on your color of car and I'm possibly thinking about doing this conversion. So my question is, how can you get ahold of the parts needed for this conversion?Tags: None
