Wiring my fogs to my low beams

The thought of doing this came to me today. Since my car is for some reason missing the passenger side wiring harness, and that the wiring process is going to require me to remove my entire dash (according to trackjunkie), I think this may be more doable for the short term, maybe until the school's out, and I have more time on my hands. Has anyone ever attempted this? Also I'm wondering what type of inline fuse I'll need, to suit the light's amperage.
