Really? We're going back the 'your mom' jokes now? I didn't realize I was in Junior High again, but by the way you dingleberries type I should have known. You're going to do something illegal, then come talk shit to people, especially mods, who call you out? You're a jackass and should go fall in a well.

while the effectiveness of HIDs in non projector housings may be in question, unless they are aimed directly at your eyes, the glare is on SLIGHTLY worse than OEM HIDs. the only time it is really bad is if they are in a lifted truck where the headlights are sitting at eye level and have not been reaimed.

get the same "dazzle " effect from oncomming HIDs in a non projector housing as you get from a projector housed HID. it is not like you are staring at someone TIG welding without a helmet.
my hid are aiming down to the road cause it has that dazzle like a little piece of metal with the bulb that you can flip it...btw most 240sx, miata, civic,etc.. run HID with projector even my cousin mustang ran with out them but his is blue and my is clear white even though we both have 6k hid...

Look, obviously you can both tell you touched a bit of a nerve here, and the reason is, this is a forum with a lot of technically competent individuals who also happen to be driving enthusiasts.

This bad idea is an affront to both sensibilities. Face it, HID lighting really doesn't belong in ANY light housing not designed for it, the chinese kits are NOT the pinnacle of lighting engineering, and it is a shitty setup.

Projector lights are a little better as they keep their shortcomings to the driver of the car (namely poor efficiency with the HID light) as opposed to sharing them with the poor bastards unfortunate to share the road with you and others with riced out lights.

It's a bad solution all around, and for that matter how about those high beams in the H4s, bet they work great now... EVERY high beam "solution" for an H4 HID conversion has been complete shit.

You both have shitted up your car, and managed to find a way to do it at everyone's expense. Sell the H4 housings to someone that wants them, and go buy some ellipsoids if you insist on running HIDs.

Is that so much to ask?

And FWIW, if I see your ass in my neck of the woods, I'll show you what bright lights are about and see how you enjoy glare. My highbeams are evil.
STFU dude...why you talk so much trash about your car...lol....who cares about your freaken ellipsoid..man...your such a dickhead...btw we didnt shitted our car..lol..we put parts on it...hahaha..

It not about aiming the lights.... its about FOCUS. HIDs in h4 reflectors are focused wrong and scatter light everywhere.... it doesn't matter where you aim them, they are out-of-focus and cause glare.

If you want HIDs, get ellipsoids (projectors), which can focus HIDs correctly.
+1 for being a hater...its on focus.. HID in h4 are focused right...lol..

Alot of people told me to take them out to make them brighter and i didnt. There are alot of people that have zenon lights factory on there cars that are just as bright. Why dont you complain to them too. Ok mine are bright but i am not out to blind other people on the road jackass. I did take the time to adjust them in a manner that aims them down more towards the ground than completely straight forward and it does still contrast forward the light that i need. Thank you for playing.;)
true bro...my hid bulb has a reflector thingy inside that i can switch it up to face the air or face on the road...
