Anyone had issues with 100w bulbs in fogs?

Duly noted, thanks. I found some Hellas that appear to come in 55w and 85w varieties. That should work.

Im not looking much for output as I cant tell they are on anymore with the HIDs but it would be nice to have the long wavelength for when it is foggy.

85w Hellas = what I'm using since they are cheap ($6.50 ea.) I turn mine on at night anytime I plan to drive nonstop more than ~1/2 hr., and I still pop a bulb about once a year. Maybe it's a rough environment down there. Reason I turn them on as often as I do is to heat them up and keep the inside of the housing dry, otherwise if I go a long time it seems like I get a hazy lense from water fogging the lense. Maybe I should get a new set of lenses.

Nope. Fuses were fine. And when I replaced the bulbs with new ones, they worked again. But for some reason, 100w bulbs don't last at all in fogs.

... are you sure that wasn't your fuse?

Yeah I've had issues with 100w bulbs in the fogs. They last about a second and a half before burning out.

Im wanting to put yellow bulbs in my fogs to give them more fog performance as they are useless as driving ligts (can hardly tell they are on).

the catch is most of htem are considered "rally" bulbs so they are only in high ass wattages (at least by regular bulb makers).
