I wired mine off of my front parking lights, or you can run them off of your side marker lights too.

So I just run a wire from the #30 pin on the low beam relay to the #30 pin on the high beam relay?

Is that -safe- ? Don't want to burn up the fusebox...

Mines a sealed beam car and my HIDs did not come with any thing like that. I have had my HIDs in for about 6 or 7 months now with no problem. And you will have to do the relay mod for your lows to stay on with your highs.

These are going into a sealed beam car - '88 M3.

I figured it was easier to ask all my questions in "phases", rather than bombard everyone in one post w/ all my questions, and get none answered.... :D

Do I need that harness for a sealed beam car?

This is what I was looking at:

    That the right one?

Oh, also, do I need one of those relay harnesses? I see some kits come with them, with a fuse and relay in a wiring harness --- do I need that?

And to get the highs to work with the lows, you'll have to do the relay mod in this thread http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...408#post736408

Yellow is your hot wire on you factory harness and that goes to "A".
Brown is ground that goes to "B".
the white with purple tracer on the factory harness just leave it disconnected.
