Ok, so I have this center console in my car that is made of thin ABS plastic. It has been vacuum formed, so any areas that were stretched a lot are VERY thing and week. I am afraid of it breaking through and having holes in the compartment of it (where most of the thin parts are). I was originally thinking of fiber glassing the underside, but since it is ABS, resin isn't going to stick to well. Here is a pic of it: (No, I didn't pay 110 for it, the DPO did.)
The only thing I have right now is using fiberglass. Which really might work as it doesn't necessarily have to stick to the underside. It could just support from the inside. This is all I really need.
Any other, better ideas out there?
