I drove my car around 9am yesterday to ihop and back, no problems and running solid charge on my voltmeter readout. went back at 3 to drive home from my buddy's house and there was no crank, no accessories, no anything. I tried to bump start the car but it didn't sound like there was any spark so i went and had AAA jump it, but it wouldn't even hold idle. the guy said that there was zero reading on the battery, and when he hooked it up to power the battery life read zero. the battery is reasonably new (may '10) and the only electrical thing i have recently changed is splicing my city lights into my sidemarkers.
what gives? how does a 'new' battery just grenade?
