I have many of those same problems, but I prioritized the luke box over all of them so I had something to mask the sound of my failing wheel bearings, and some good tunes while I work on the car!

Be careful on the install though, I think on some cars its a little trickier to get those port holes right.

I have a 12" Luke box I bought off here, just haven't had the time to install it... Too busy fixing the suspension, the brakes, the leaky oil pan, the bad half shafts, the clutch that's starting to slip. However, all of that is almost done so it means free time to install the box soon! I'm looking forward to some bass!

Why is there no talk of the 12" box on this thread? Don't feel like building them? or too many people scared to cut into their car. I can say that the install is kind of a pain, but even if you fuck up like me and drill the holes wrong it'll still sound AMAZING!

The obcon sounds amazing, too bad there are too many loose components in my car that rattle when I turn it up... Luke I think your box may be speeding up the decay of my old beater eta.

How bout you offer a discount to anyone who has already bought one of your boxes, once you get those nice production GAS boxes.

Got everything installed today, sounds amazing. Only powering my hertz subwoofer with 100watts on a bridged 4-channel alpine and I'm amazed how much bass it puts out.

There will be at least 1 more run in the next few weeks, I still have a dozen or so oddball projects, plus the 8" boxes and amp racks, plus the E30 door panels AND the new stuff...but I still do not have a running car, so that bit of work has GOT to get done.

Anyone sitting on the fence should know the new price is going to be $229 PLUS shipping.

If I could sell 30 boxes a month I could sustain that old price, but I just cannot when I only sell a few E30 boxes a month.

The E46 is just screaming for attention...that is where I can actually make a living with this!

    All gone.

Soon, there will be no more R3V boxes, only product from GAS.

Prices will be quite a bit higher...gotta pay the staff 'round here better!

Tuning (obviously dependent on woofer displacement) is right about 35Hz, so completely on spec for that woofer. In fact, that combo should absolutely
kick ass. Maybe more "Loud" than "Clear", but even then it will want to see a bunch of power: that 87db sensitivity is kind of a bummer.
Sweetness:up: I'll have to wait until my next paycheck though.
