Summer "Luke Box" Build

What is the volume of your ported 10" box. I would plan on using a Pioneer TS-W257D2 Sub, and a Pioneer GM-5300T Amp. It said in the manual for the sub that the max volume of a ported box is 1.55 cu ft.

My boxes are 1.5 cubic feet gross, average woofer displacement and port displacement average roughly .16 cubic foot, for a total of 1.34 net.

Tuning (obviously dependent on woofer displacement) is right about 35Hz, so completely on spec for that woofer. In fact, that combo should absolutely kick ass. Maybe more "Loud" than "Clear", but even then it will want to see a bunch of power: that 87db sensitivity is kind of a bummer.

BTW: Canadians, I do believe we now have a way to ship boxes to you reasonably cost-effectively. I am a NAFTA vendor, as my products are "100% manufactured from NAFTA components" and are "primarily from NAFTA made Materials", so I qualify to get you decent customs and taxes.

Box arrived, shipped from the states across the border the very next morning...that's unheard of! Props to Luke for making it happen, very impressed with all his service but mostly the box. Perfect fit!

Do you want to power all the speakers in the car, or just the fronts and sub?

Use a 4 channel if you are going to run the rears off the deck, or see if you can find a 6 channel. I know Quart has a 6 channel Marine amp pretty cheap on Sonicelectronix.com

Got my box today, Now to get the amp and sub. (The stuff I got for free was in terrible shape)

Since the DVC version of the obcon sharktooth seem to be gone. Got any other suggestions? Amp and sub. Thanks!

E30 12" boxes are not currently available, but will be part of the next run, as will (I swear, I just need a damn car to drive) the 8" removable box and amp rack.
