The title pretty much says it, I just replaced my starter and when I was firing it over for a few test starts smoke started coming out from under the dash. Long story short the wire from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid short circuited, and after replacing it my heater fan doesn't come on and the windows don't work. All the fuses appear fine. It's probably some wiring issue that I'm going to have to track down but I thought I'd check here first to see if anyone has seen this type of thing or has a starting point for me to go off of.
