Crutchfield claims the 80prs wont fit because its too deep, but seeing that you have it installed I may have to buy it now! Im a long time Pioneer fan, but Ive also been considering the Kenwood KDC-X998 http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113KDCX...-KDC-X998.html2003 Z4 3.0 6-speed- Silver, 19's, daily driver
1990 Silver 325i- Lowered on H&R OE Sports, e90 drop hats, KYB shocks, color matched rocker panels, 16" Emortal RS wheels on 205/50/16 tires... Currently getting a full refresh including an S52 swap!
1997 Black Ford Probe GT- Stripped to 2220lbs, MS3X, Forged motor in midst of assembly... Dyno results and 1/4 mile times pending

yeah I saw that prior to purchasing....and was weary myself. It does stick it a tad, but not enough (and I'm super OCD) that it bothers me.www.instagram.com/snwmble

ahhhh that looks awesome. I'm sure it will perform great!
as far as the matte surround, mine came glossy/shiny. I prepped & painted it w/ SEM trim paint. Blends WAYYY better.www.instagram.com/snwmble

They do lose the rear USB input, however.

Sure would like blowchunks to get their act together... Multicolor display, matte black finish, and just a few little tweaks would make that deck just awesome.
I read the manual online, seems it has the ability to "mix" two sources, called something like "Aux mix". I'd like to see what that feature is, might be really cool...or just another stupid stunt.
I also would like to see them bring back their old "FIX VOLUME" trick, whatever you set it at is the volume it goes to when you power it up, no matter what it was when you shut it off.

Here is my temporary setup. It's not fantastic but it does the job for now. Certainly looks better then the sony HU the car came with.
It's a 3.5mm jack and power switch, wired to a 10 amp, 12v -> 24v step up DC-DC regulator along with a small Class-D amplifier board. These are both jammed behind the faceplate (on top of the climate control unit).
