People who aren't willing to give up 10% of their trunk for great bass, aren't people who want bass in the first place.

Yes it does take up some space, but I've seriously never thought "oh dang, I can't get this in the trunk because of the LukeBox." That's all I meant.

I misstated the weight in the earlier post. Its 58 pounds, box, amp and sub, not 68 as I said, that was off the top of my head.

I think the small loss of space was worth it.

Amp's pretty hidden also, making the trunk seem bigger.
It's worth it because of this...

[QUOTE=DER E30;4381227]My Lukebox isn't that big... It hasn't hampered anything, I can throw just as much stuff in the trunk as I did before.

This might be a great solution for better bass in my touring!

A luke box is only what, 8-9" at the bottom? So you lose almost no space.

Bass is worth the 58 pounds my lukebox weighs...

unnoticeable? Me thinks it's not going to rock the house, but any thing is better than nothing. Anything to add a little bump is nice. Combine that with a small amp - I can see it working decently enough to be worth the weight. I have all the MDF, and amps, and woofer to build a sub box, but adding all that weight to my car is not something I'm looking forward to.

It sounds good in your wagon because there's no trunk. This will do next to nothing in your trunk with a thick foam seat and sheet metal between you and the trunk

True. I wonder it it will fit snug against the ski pass. It isn't much larger than the ski bag.

While it is nice and small, I don't see this doing much other than rattling your trunk a bit. A driver that small sealed in the trunk will be unnoticeable in the cabin.

Now if you could fit it under the driver's seat...

Yes, MDF is super heavy. This box is a tad bit over 3lbs. Remove the foam ring, and I bet it will be less than 3lbs.

Might be a nice light weight solution.
