its great to have forum that does have so many information and helpful..
my baby is 91 alpinewhite 325i convertible Mtech kits addon..
I would like to have keyless entry system because my driver lock cylinder is not locking although it does lock....it lock and unlocks at passenger door/trunk...
A good friend of mine gave me alarm system that he bought it from the guy who sells in here I think his user name is Frankestein years ago...
I was so excited to install it and after finished with the wiring,
it wouldn't lock the car!
I locked with the key at the trunk and tried to unlock it with the remote and yes it unlocks...
I'm confused:/
I checked with my voltmeter unlocking wire from keyless system (hich was the white one I think)it continuisly sends 9 volts without pressing any button..
the other locking wire white gray I believe doesn't have any voltage even with pressing button on remote...
I'm looking the alarm expert over here to help me solve my problem...
where do you think I did wrong???
