Are 1988 and 1989 Chassis harness the same?
Long story short. I did and M50 swap in an 88 E30. The swap was wired for an 89 e30. It shorted out pin 20(abs) in the harness and fried the main chassis harness, from the fuse box and underneath the dash. Instead of trying to repair it, I decided to swap the whole chassis harness out. I got my hands on a 89 chassis harness.
Are they interchangeable? I know the abs is wired different, but I eliminated the abs.
