i Will, i just don't understand thats all! I'm like the "noob" of the "noobs"
my step dad knows how to install stereos as it was a huge hobby of his when he was my age. So hopefully he'll know, but I cant find an easy way to peel back the trunk liner to get to the antenna. I guess I'll just do taht when i go to install my sub(won't be for at least a few weeks)

IF you are still using the stock amp, you will need to leave that blue wire connected to turn the amp on, so simply pull the trunk liner down and unplug your antenna.

When you do your aftermarket sub/amp/whatever, you will use the blue/white or the blue, (depending on what your deck has) to turn them on.

Oh yeah...most Kenwonts...er.....Kenwoods have that blue/white wire. Most aftermarket decks these days do, except Pioneer.

okay so I just went out and bought a sub and amp system. its not hte best quality but it will do what i need it to do..
I got an 12" Infinity sub(1250W), bassworkz sealed box, and a Rockford Fosgate P200-2 amp. So is it still okay if i disconnect the antenna?

    panasonic

I just did my gf's the antenna signal has it own output on the harness as well, so it only turn on when stereo is on... If your HU doesnt do it, then like john say, wire a switch.
