1991 318i Rear Door Actuator

I had to fix the window on the same door with the bad actuator so I just decided to tackle both at the same time. It was easy to figure out once you are in there.

The driver rear door lock actuator on my 91 318i is not working anymore, I haven't taken a look inside the door yet. I was wondering if you guys had any tips or tricks that I should know about before I take the door apart, I looked online for a bit but I couldn't find any info on e30 rear door actuators. I did see some stuff online about the rear actuators being vacuum controlled but I am not sure, vacuum control actuators sound kind of weird since the fronts are not. Anyways, I come here for some advice and or guidance for this task.
