Well, according to this post, that's as far apart as they could possibly be!

That would mean my old appearence pack car was one of 19 manuals delivered to Canada. It was Black on Black, so probably one of less then 10.
And I've got one just like it, only black MTech I've ever seen in person.

Anyone have any idea how many white vs black appearance package cars there are?

There's a local black 318i convertible to me I've seen and it has a OEM Mtech 2 kit. I was always under the impression 325i convertibles where the only US market Mtech's from the factory? He wants $2500 bucks for it but this thing is BEAT to hell, I don't even think I'd pick it up for a grand cause then I'd have a parts car in the driveway.

Don't know if you are keeping track of destroyed ones. But when I bought my vert, the kid told me he had a body kit for it from another car he had. Turns out it was from a 770 car that was in town and jumped a curb. The guy took it off to scrap but kept the sides.

Here's the info on the car that's no longer around.

I sold mine to e30topdown (Ken)
Someone should pm him to get it here.

    Vin number WBABB130XNEC06148

It was a 1992 blk/blk Canadian spec factory 5 speed
Originally imported to a Montreal dealership, and sat there. It was purchased from them by a lady in Richmond BC, through Autowest BMW.
I was the third owner, Ken is the fourth.

    M-Tech II cabrio registry

I know there's a lot more of these on R3V & applaud your efforts of getting a registry going.
Nice job on getting the "sticky" - should help the exposure. At Robert's open house in 2010 we had 7 - original E30 M-Tec II's parked together with all 5 of the colors represented.

    S771a car
    4. “Cactusjacks1” in SO CA
    04/1991 BR/MT, original 5 speed cabrio EC04957
Factory extended BK leather with Evo/M-tech cloth

That print out is simply wrong. It's not the first time either. Here an M540i brochure which promised 50 cars

BMW also promised 500 of these, but built only 484 of them.

It also works other way around. BMW promised 500 US-spec E28, but built 1,239 of them.

It's not terrible... 2 can fit back there and not be completely contorted! I would say that for long distance trips it probably get uncomfortable.
