I'll be running sterling coated Hartge headers -> stock mid section -> dual in/out 2" Magnaflow cat. From the Cat back the piping will be running into an e36 M3 Dinan muffler thats already installed on the car.
The Dinan muffler I believe has dual 2.25" inlets. I figure that since Dinan tuned the muffler for this size piping I should just stick with this size for the best sound. Any thoughts? At first I was tempted to run dual 2" into the muffler. But I was worried about it sounding too quiet. Although, with the 2.25" I am worried about it sounding too loud... hah.
Would it be to my advantage to do an X-Pipe in the catback system?
The motor will be basically stock, apart from an MAF and maybe 19lb injectors.
